The aim of this course is to provide students with the skills and experiences necessary to plan a research project related to Health Sciences.
The students will undertake a project or research activity supervised by a qualified staff member/supervisor and maintain progress of work in accordance with the stages and timelines agreed upon with supervisor/s. The student will produce a research proposal and literature review. Research principles and methodology including research question/s, literature review and critique (may include systematic review methods), sampling procedures and selection, qualitative and quantitative designs, variables, threats to reliability and validity, outcome measures and the role of ethics in research.
