To enable students to experience dance as an educative and recreation form and come to appreciate its physical, social and emotional potential.
Students will build theoretical understandings around forms of dance, energy systems, biomechanical principals, skill acquisition and dance methodology. Students will develop skills in planning and executing dance experiences appropriate for education and recreation.
