Course aim

To develop students’ proficiency in spoken and written Chinese at an intermediate level and enhance their intercultural communication skills through critical reflection on key aspects of contemporary Chinese language, culture and society.

Course content

Students will develop core concepts related to communicating in Chinese including vocabulary related to a range of content areas; grammatical concepts and structures with a focus on language use; key aspects of contemporary Chinese language, culture and society relevant to diverse communication contexts
