Students will develop competencies in designing research that incorporates appropriate conceptual, methodological and ethical requirements to inform nursing and health care practice, knowledge and research.
Advancing nursing and health care through research; major issues and debates in contemporary nursing and health care research; the research process and research design; the role of literature in research; research ethics; research concepts and terminology research paradigms, research methodologies, forms of research evidence, research methods; research dissemination and utlisation; research standards and conventions; evidence based practice.
