Course aim

This course is aimed at students who have not previously undertaken specialised studies in mathematics. This course will provide an introduction to basic mathematical concepts and tools required for further studies.

Course content

Whole numbers, integers, fractions, decimals, percent, introduction to algebra, algebraic expressions, solving linear equations in one unknown and formulae, units of measurements, ratio, rates, proportions, percent, basic geometry.
