Design intelligent controllers using fuzzy logic
Modelling and control of single input, single output (SISO) and multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) systems. Linear algebra for state space methods. Analysis and design of state-feedback controllers and estimators by pole placement and linear quadratic principles for complex real-world processes. Intelligent controllers including expert systems, fuzzy logic and neural networks. Case studies presenting sample controller designs, practical implementation considerations, and limitations of control systems.
