Course aim

To develop the capacity to lead curriculum innovation and change in early childhood settings to an advanced level.

Course content

Perspectives on leadership in early childhood in Australia and internationally; early childhood policy and practice; curriculum innovation; application of theoretical and research ideas in early childhood settings; leadership in integrated services and other early childhood contexts; Australian national quality agenda; communication and advocacy in leadership in early childhood; critical inquiry in early childhood leadership; ethical issues and social responsible actions in early childhood leadership.
