Course aim

To evaluate the notions of  'learning organisation' and 'organisational learning' as they are relevant to managing contemporary sites of education and learning across the life cycle.

Course content

Interpretations of learning organisations; learning organisation vs individual learning; reasons for learning; levels and type of learning, structures and processes supporting learning organisations; socially distributed cognition.
