To extend a students' understanding of how language and culture are learnt in the context of diversity.
Students will critically evaluate different cognitive and social theories of second language acquisition and language learning through the lens of linguistic and cultural diversity. They will use this understanding in conducting case studies in language learning relevant to their particular context.
