To extend students' science and mathematics teaching skills to enable them to select appropriate technologies and methods to integrate them into the learning environment.
Students will apply skills in models of middle schooling and their impact on mathematics and science teaching, integrated approaches to teaching mathematics and science, cross discipline, trans discipline and interdisciplinary approaches, how different curriculum documents, eg the Australian Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate, shape the teaching of middle years science and mathematics.
