To enable students to plan for effective teaching of science in R-7 schools.
Students will undertake research into children's learning in science, principles of constructivism, an interactive approach to science teaching, structure of a recognised curriculum framework - Science. Students will plan for teaching science to children, sequential development of investigations, planning for learning, critical analysis of methods of teaching eg: problem solving, interactive approach, concept development in science and resources for teaching and learning science.
