To develop students' understanding of the role of Design and Technology within the school curriculum.
The students will develop understanding about planning for learning including design briefs and design folios, and will use the Australian Curriculum: Technologies to support effective learning in Design and Technologies education. Students will critically analyse teaching methods, investigate resources for teaching and learning, gain an understanding of OHSW issues and, apply principles of sustainability and effective resource management when planning, designing and constructing.
