Midwifery Project

Course aim

To demonstrate an understanding of evidence from midwifery practice through the implementation of a research project and dissemination of the findings.

Course content

Research development skills; ethical conduct and issues in research; managing, analysing and interpreting data; construction and presentation of a poster report (including background / introduction, aim, methods, results, discussion and clinical implications); approaches to research dissemination; reflective evidence-based practice; research translation; safety and quality.
