Course aim

To investigate the complexity of praxis evident in curriculum, methods and mentoring associated with innovative practice in Health and Physical Education (HPE).

Course content

Explore deeper levels of professional practice in HPE. Design and teach complex innovative experiences that facilitating learning for diverse students demonstrating eclectic teaching methods, a focus on questioning and strategies for maintaining positive learning states. Undertake professional observation, drawing on practice based evidence to critically reflect, evaluate and progress professional practice using peer review and mentoring. Investigate curriculum issues and implications for professional practice.
