To study a range of art forms in education and to consider the appropriate content, methodologies, materials, processes and curricula to enable their implementation within educational environments.
Students will develop knowledge of arts education theory and practices in the disciplines of dance, drama, media arts, music and visual arts. They will plan, document and implement arts teaching and learning, using curriculum frameworks, the influence of socio-cultural factors on arts education and, the intrinsic and instrumental value of the arts across learning areas.
