Course aim

This course provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of legal issues that may arise in business dealings with a wide range of stakeholders including business partners, financiers, employees, contractors, customers, competitors, regulators and the public, and explores their impact on organisational management and leadership, business strategy, and business conduct. In doing so, the course challenges students to consider how legal risks can be minimised whilst simultaneously achieving value-enhancing organisational objectives.

Students completing the course develop a body of knowledge that:

  • Contributes to a comprehensive and integrated application of commercial law knowledge to recent developments in the field of senior organisational management and leadership in international business environments.
  • Provides a pathway for further learning.
