To prepare students for employment and professional practice in their related field of studies.
Students will apply advanced knowledge and skills to promote their professional career profile appropriate to their field of studies and associated professional standards and code of practice.This will be achieved through reflecting on the Australian workforce, work ethics, specific and general skills demands in different industries, workplace organisational structures, organisational culture and design, impacts on working conditions, workplace and employment policy development. Students will consolidate their skills and strategies for effective communication and presentation of information, job application, interview techniques and presentational skills.
