Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop the opportunity to implement a research project plan developed in NURS 3044 Foundations of Research and disseminate outcomes that demonstrate application of the research process.

Course content

Research development skills, literature based nursing project, synthesising research literature as data, research/practice nexus, approaches to research dissemination, construction and presentation of a poster report (including background/introduction, aim, methods, results and discussion), managing data, data analysis, ethical conduct, ethical issues in research, evidence based practice.
