Course aim

To provide a general understanding of ICT, focusing on obtaining relevant skills for students to use ICT effectively during their studies at the university and the world beyond.

Course content

Technical aspects of computing: ICT components and their functions, operating system, and communications technologies. ICT applications: skills in word-processing, page design, presentation, and simple database design.
