Course aim

To develop students’ capacity to design and undertake a research project from conception to data collection, incorporating appropriate ethical requirements.

Course content

The with Honours strand is comprised of two courses of 9 units each, one per study period. Education Honours A focuses on developing knowledge and skills in research methods and designing a research project leading to the preparation of a research proposal and ethics application, where required. In conjunction with their supervisors, students will define a research topic, review relevant literature, and outline the methodology and research methods they plan to use to undertake their project.
