To develop written and interpersonal communication skills within a business environment and where there is a strong emphasis on practical application.
Written communication: report and essay writing, critiquing, electronic communication. Interpersonal communication: assertiveness, understanding the self, listening and giving feedback, public presentation, verbal communication, non-verbal communication, persuasion, conflict and negotiation, interviewing and being interviewed skills, meetings and group communication, mass communication, interpersonal skills, intercultural communication.
