Course aim

To introduce the candidate to the principles of research methodology and evaluation.

Course content

Introduction to research principles and methodology including research questions, literature review and critique, sampling procedures and selection, qualitative and quantitative designs, variables, threats to reliability and validity, outcome measures and the role of ethics in research.
