To provide students with practical clinical opportunities to enable them to apply their theoretical knowledge and achieve the clinical competencies to practice at an entry level.
The 10 week clinical placement will provide opportunities for students to apply their medical nutrition therapy knowledge and skills within a clinical environment. Further development of clinical reasoning skills and clinical knowledge to achieve the dietetic entry level competency requirements for clinical placements. The clinical placement will occur at two placement sites. Tutorials will enable students to share experiences and discuss clinical cases.
