Course aim

To develop in students advanced skills, relative to specialisation, in applying design processes, strategies and practices to a variety of design projects of increased complexity.

Course content

Students will expand knowledge of design processes, materials selection and production strategies synthesised with critical analysis relative to use, interaction, consumption and production. Students will participate in collaboration with industry and/or interdisciplinary academic groups. Students will gain skills in problem framing, design research and project development, feasibility, and parameters. Students will further develop skills in project liaison and coordination, client consultation, presentation, evaluation and feedback, project documentation and reporting.
