Course aim

To further develop student understanding and competence in areas critical to 21st century teaching namely mathematics and science and to develop an appreciation of mathematics and science.

Course content

Understanding of science and mathematics in a way which will assist students as teachers in the 21st century; relevant basic principles of mathematics and science; mathematics of space, earth sciences, environmental and biological sciences, algebra and patterns, rational numbers, measurement, physics, chemistry.
