Course aim

To introduce students to biomechanical theory and practice and apply mechanical principles to movement influencing the lower limb and to introduce students to assessment protocols and treatment procedures required in podiatry clinical practice

Course content

Biomechanics theory. Biomechanics of joints and muscles. Foot and ankle biomechanics. Clinical anatomy. Introduction to podiatry practice. Chronic disease assessment and management.
