Course aim

Develop pre-clinical knowledge and skills in assessment, handling and selected interventions used in physiotherapy practice

Course content

Principles and skills of subjective and physical assessment. Principles and techniques of infection control applied to selected interventions. Skills in applying informed consent procedures to selected interventions. Application of the theory and practice of manual handling with clients. Theory of selected techniques (e.g. Electrophysical agents, Aquatic Physiotherapy). Safe and professional practice in the use of selected techniques (e.g. Electrophysical agents).
