Course aim

Develop an understanding and application of electrophysical agents and advanced manual handling within physiotherapy practice.

Course content

Electrophysical agents theory and practice. Principles of infection control applicable to included techniques. Application of the theory and practice of advanced manual handling in acute settings and/or with disabled clients.  Safe and professional practice in the use of all included techniques. Guidelines and practice for teaching other health workers in the use and safety of manual handling and gait aids.
