Course aim

This course will develop research skills by providing research training research methods, ethics and methodology. The course will also enhance clinical skills and reflective practice through the application of theory underpinning Paediatric Nursing.

Course content

Research principles, process, methods and ethics; developing a research proposal. Using critical thinking and information literacy to inform evidence-based practice; nursing assessment, care planning, discharge planning. Guided use of clinical activities to explore competence in provision of evidence-based paediatric and child health care.
