Course aim

To develop a theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of both the individual and collective aspects of employment law.

Course content

The Australian workplace relations framework; employment status; formation of the employment contract and general terms; managing workplace behaviour; workplace bullying and harassment; employers’ obligations; unfair dismissal; bargaining; industrial action; adverse action and unlawful termination.
