Course aim

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the regulation of Australia’s military personnel and to the law governing deployments especially in peace-keeping operations

1. Australia’s peace keeping operations
2. The Code of Military Justice
3. Criminal Code offences dealing with national security
4. International law principles of relevance to Australia’s international commitments in peace-keeping
5. Defence Force Discipline
6. International Humanitarian Law
7. International Criminal Law
