To apply surveying knowledge and experience to a significant spatial science problem.
Students undertake a major investigation project in any area of spatial science. The project will be practically oriented, aimed at solving a problem and will be reported by way of a major report / minor thesis and a presentation to the University, the Board of Surveyors and spatial profession. Spatial Science Research Project 2 is an extension of Spatial Science Research Project 1 and will consist of further experimentation / investigation, followed by analysis and reporting.
