To apply surveying knowledge and experience to a significant cadastral surveying problem.
Students undertake a major investigation project in any area of cadastral surveying. The project will be practically oriented and be set at the level of survey and analysis normally encountered in a cadastral project presented for licensing to the SA Board of Surveyors. The project will be supervised by a staff member of the University and a master surveyor from the profession. The results of the project will be presented to the University and the Board of Surveyors. In Cadastral Surveying Project 2, the project proposal may focus on a rural survey, or a significant aspect of cadastral surveying practice.
