Cadastral Surveying

Course aim

To explore the theoretical and practical aspects of cadastral surveying and to also explore land boundary anomalies and investigation methods for their resolution.

Course content

Searching survey and title records. Boundary surveying principles and techniques. Survey computations and data management. Survey investigation. Plan preparation, lodgement and examination. Natural boundaries. Identification surveys. Status of roads. Audit surveys. Boundary evidence and ambiguity. Old system land. Rural surveys and historical marking practices.
