Course aim

To explore the theoretical and practical aspects of cadastral / land boundary surveying as practiced in Australia.

Course content

Property law relating to cadastral surveying. Land title and boundary systems. Searching survey and title records. Boundary surveying principles and techniques. Natural boundaries. Survey investigation. Status of roads. Certified surveys. Identification surveys. Survey examination. Survey computations and documentation.
