Course aim

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the procedures used when planning operations undertaken by large transport category aircraft.

Course content

This course covers the key elements of large aircraft performance applicable to Airline Operations. Focusing on the critical areas of take-off, en route and landing performance the course also covers factors dealing with optimum range performance for turbine aircraft with an emphasis on developing a basic understanding of the requirements for the safe and efficient management of performance in large aircraft.
