Course aim

To provide students with knowledge of the operation and control of gas turbine engines and systems and the ancillary systems of a heavy jet transport aircraft.

Course content

Turbo-Jet Engines including: Types, Components/Structure, Operation/Control, Systems and Handling.
Ancillary Systems including: Hydraulics, Oxygen/Life Support, Landing, Braking, Augmentation, Electrical, Anti/De-Ice and Fuel.
