To extend the students’ knowledge of modern quantity surveying practice and measurement principles for infrastructures on commercial construction and civil engineering works.
Infrastructure for commercial construction and civil engineering works including but not limited to cofferdam, piling, retaining wall, diaphragm wall, caisson, sea wall, tunnel, bridge, road, railway track, pre-stressed and post-tensioning works. Methods of measurement, contract procurement and administration of civil engineering works. Information technology application for the preparation of Bills of Quantities in civil engineering works.
