To relate the design, engineering and scientific principles to the professional practice aspects of Building Surveying and to justify the options for remedial works.
Government and Private Certifiers duties and responsibilities. Construction and structural documentation. Performance assessment of design and engineering solutions of complex buildings and structures used scientific based principles. Site procedures, notices and certification. Building inspection and report writing. Management of repair/remedial works in both a single project and as part of a Program of works for a building facility. Building maintenance management, computer analysis and modelling of facilities management.
