To consolidate and extend students' knowledge and understanding in the area of child and community study.
Students will develop their knowledge as pre-service teachers and apply their understanding of the nature of community based partnerships through engaging in community based projects and collaborative learning. The students will further develop their understanding of child development through presenting teaching episodes which emphasis the nature of early learning. Issues of social justice and equity and addressing disadvantage in the community will also be explored.
