To develop students' analysis in restorative approaches to justice in relation to conflict and crime in Australian communities.
Students will develop knowledge of the justice paradigm; history of approaches to justice; culture, justice and conflict resolution; restorative justice values and principles; restorative justice models in international jurisdictions; victim-offender and other restorative programs in the criminal justice system; restorative conflict resolution in schools; restorative justice in the workplace; research outcomes; ethical issues.
