To provide students with an understanding and appreciation of current practices, procedures and issues in the reporting of sport. To increase students’ awareness of the different forms of sports reporting.
Students will develop an advanced understanding of current sports reporting practice; issues in sport and in sport news and features reporting; ethical and legal issues related to sport and sports reporting; writing sports-based news and feature stories; sports reporting in print, broadcast and online media.
