This course explores the theories of learning and behavior change to successfully enable communication of nutrition issues to the public which meet nutritional competencies required for a nutritionist.
Cultural, social, political and economic influences on food intake and the resultant effect on nutritional and health status of all sectors of the Australian community. Theories of learning behaviour and change. Nutrition communication. Current international and national nutritional and health initiatives and programs. In-depth nutritional knowledge of typical cuisines and foods sold in Australia and consumed by sub-population groups in Australia (including social cultural, religious and economic groups).
