To provide a sound understanding of the advanced drug delivery systems and to introduce the concepts of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs in industry, hospitals and community pharmacy.
Biopharmaceuticals including peptides, proteins (eg: insulin, erythropoietin, vaccine) DNA/oligonucleotides and their stability; lipidic systems; sterile preparations including parenterals, nasal and ophthalmic delivery, implants, infusion devices (eg: patient controlled analgesia), cytotoxic preparation; advanced topics covering radiopharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical nanotechnology, biosimilars, and veterinary pharmaceuticals; regulatory affairs in pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, and community pharmacy.
