Course aim

To provide engineering students knowledge in nanomaterials, their fabrication, and actual technical application as well as applications in novel and innovative technologies.

Course content

The sequence of lectures will cover the following:

  • Introduction to nanotechnology, nanomaterials, and basic concept of nanomaterials;

The sequence of tutorials will cover the following:

  • In order to reinforce lecture material, students will prepare presentations as well as a related written work of up to 2,500 words on an advanced and innovative topic in the area of nanomaterials, their fabrication, and application based on up-to-date leading edge literature.
