Course aim

To enable the student to develop or extend knowledge and skills in a rehabilitation setting in order to establish or consolidate their professional identity as a practitioner in the rehabilitation field.

Course content

Negotiating and planning placement in vocational, disability and other rehabilitation settings; identifying and maintaining a learning focus; managing workload; applying theory in practice; utilising supervision; establishing credibility in the workplace; working collaboratively; engaging in reflective practice; completing a satisfactory placement; identifying professional development and career pathways.
