Course aim

To develop students’ capacity to understand the communication requirements in the fields of science, engineering and technology to a range of different publics

Course content

The communication of science, engineering and technology (SET) to a wider audience; the development of theoretical understanding and practical skills in science communication and understanding of the multi-disciplinary aspects of public and community responses to science and technology. The history and philosophy of science, engineering and technology; science, engineering and technology and the Media; science, engineering and technology and Public Policy, contemporary issues relating to Science Education and Science literacy.
