This course provides an opportunity for students to solve practical engineering design problems and to recognise the roles of systems thinking, innovation and creativity in the design process.
Engineering problem solving, basic systems engineering concepts, the engineering design process, identifying requirements, design concepts, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, developing solutions, test and evaluation processes, project management principles and basic tools.
