Course aim

To introduce students to aesthetic theory and how this informs the aesthetic attributes of three-dimensional forms, and then guiding the students as they apply this knowledge towards three dimensional explorations that are evaluated against aesthetic objectives.

Course content

Students will apply aesthetic theory towards evaluating and producing three-dimensional outcomes that demonstrate aesthetic attributes and contribute to an overall aesthetic experience in use and contemplation.

Year 1 of Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Design (Product Innovation), Bachelor of Interior Architecture, or consent of coordinator. Students who have completed VSAR 2035 Aesthetics of Form should not enrol in this course
