The course develops students’ capacity in spoken and written communication in Modern Standard Arabic as a Foreign Language at the intermediate level.
Aural comprehension and expression, basic communicative functions, grammatical concepts and vocabulary acquired will be broadened and consolidated;; critical reading, listening, writing; tasks and skills; summarising and presenting reports; sociolinguistic and intercultural knowledge integral to a range of communicative situations and tasks.
Please note that this course is available to UniSA students only. It is not available to students of other Universities wishing to study cross-institutionally.
Students must enrol concurrently in the equivalent Deakin University online course AIB251 Arabic 2A via cross-institutional enrolment. On successful completion of the Deakin University course students must apply for credit at UniSA.
